Amrak Institute of Medical Sciences is a pioneering institution in Sri Lanka offering courses in Nursing, Allied Health Sciences and Biomedical Sciences. As a subsidiary of Durdans Hospital, it blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience inside a globally accredited healthcare institution.

Amrak is fully accredited by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) and the Private Health Services Regulatory Council (PHSRC). Its Medical Laboratory Science programme is additionally accredited by the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC).

Programmes span Foundation Certificates in Nursing and Sciences, Higher Diplomas in Nursing, Biomedical Sciences and Medical Laboratory Sciences, and undergraduate degrees including a BSc (Hons) in Nursing (Top-Up) and a BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science, both awarded by Birmingham City University, UK.
